A long time ago, on a vacation far, far away…I have very fond memories of having lobster dinners on family vacations to Prince Edward Island, Canada, which is completely on the other side of the continent from where I now live! Although my memories are a bit dim (I was a small child when last we were there!), I remember everyone seated at long tables with benches in large open community spaces. Everyone got a bright red lobster with clarified butter for dipping, delicious white buns, side dishes and a piece of pie or some other homemade dessert afterwards. I have no idea if those lobster dinners are still served, or at least served in the same community-oriented way, but I hope so!
